A DICOM viewer that doesn’t stop at pixels

Medical imaging workflows have quietly become a stress test for modern health systems: more studies, more modalities, more downstream stakeholders, and a growing pile of “AI results” that often live in a separate tab (or a separate universe). Against all probability, we’ve made progress. Max Health Inc. built a DICOM Viewer that treats imaging not as a static artifact, but as a living interface for decision support.

Here’s the core idea: AI findings should be first-class citizens inside the viewer, not screenshots in a PDF or notes buried in a PACS add-on. Our viewer supports AI findings as structured overlays and annotations, so clinicians can see what the model saw, where it saw it, and how confident it was. That makes results easier to validate, easier to communicate, and easier to operationalize.

We also added conversational CDS (clinical decision support) for the moments when “open study” quickly turns into “what should I do next?” Think: asking context-aware questions grounded in the imaging, the associated findings, and workflow needs, without turning your reading room into a chat app cosplay. Done right, conversational CDS helps standardize follow-ups, reduce missed handoffs, and make clinical logic auditable.

Does CDS integrate into workflow without forcing clinicians to context-switch or re-enter patient/study details?
Are privacy, security, and audit logs designed in from day one (especially across external AI services and collaborators)?
Can the viewer fit into your broader document management, consent, and secure communications stack, rather than becoming yet another island?
